SMS Terms & Conditions

Program: Hartter Chiropractic & Wellness Patient Care Text Messages. This program sends appointment-related and practice communications to patients and prospective patients who have given us their mobile number and agreed to receive text messages.

• Appointment confirmations, reminders, and scheduling changes.
• Recall notices and follow-up care reminders.
• Billing and balance reminders.
• Responses to questions you send us by text.
• Occasional practice updates, such as holiday hours, closures, or new services.

You opt in by providing your mobile phone number on one of our website forms — such as our new patient inquiry form or patient intake form — and checking the consent box, by giving your number and verbal consent at our front desk, or by texting us first and agreeing to continue. Consent is not required to receive care or to make a purchase.

Message frequency varies. Most patients receive approximately 2 to 4 messages per month, with more messages around a scheduled visit or an active course of care. You may receive fewer, or more, depending on your appointments and your communication with us.

Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for text messages, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates apply to each message you send or receive. Please check your mobile plan for details.

You can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you reply STOP, we will send you a single confirmation message and then stop sending text messages to that number. You will still be able to receive care and can still be reached by phone or email.

We respect your privacy. We do not sell or share your mobile phone number, your text messaging opt-in data, or your consent status with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is used only to send you the messages described above and is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. All other categories of data are described in that policy.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator and is outside our control. Carriers supported may change without notice.

You must be 18 years or older, or have a parent or guardian opt in on your behalf, to participate in this text message program. By opting in, you confirm that the mobile number you provide is yours or that you are authorized to consent on its behalf.

We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued participation in the text message program after a change means you accept the updated terms.
